Our Recommended 2021 Skincare Resolutions

With a new year comes new resolutions! While most don’t think to create skincare resolutions, we highly recommend setting goals this year for your best skin health. By creating priorities for yourself, you’ll be doing your skin a major favor, and we’re here to support you. Here are our recommendations for your 2021 skin care resolutions.

Wash your face every morning, and nail down your skincare regime with the proper products. Some may feel like this step isn’t necessary after waking up, but it’s one of the most important things you can do for your skin. Use warm water to prep your pores, allowing them to open up to your cleanser for a full, deep clean. Shop any of our recommended cleansers here, and don’t forget to follow up with a toner, moisturizer, and sunscreen

Schedule an annual skin exam. Scheduling your annual skin exam at the beginning of the year will support you being on track with  your skin health. Wondering why this crucial step is so important? It allows for our clinicians to detect early signs of skin cancer and provides the opportunity to share any personalized tips for you and your best skin. Call to schedule your appointment, and click here to learn more about how to prepare for your annual skin exam.

Use a humidifier daily. When spending more time at home, it’s easier for our skin to be exposed to the dry air from our thermostat units. Plug in a nearby humidifier to pump some moisture back into your environment, and in turn, your skin.

Treat yourself to an esthetic service at least once per quarter. Your skin needs a refresh! Our Medical Estheticians will assess your skin needs, and provide a personalized facial treatment and aftercare plan. Treat yourself to great skin this year, and stay tuned on social media for our monthly specials.
