Along with our other cosmetic services, Rao Dermatology is proud to offer non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatments designed to reverse the signs of aging and restore a refreshed, youthful appearance.

These rejuvenation treatments include several Laser Therapy options to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and texture, hyperpigmentation and light scarring as well as PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

LASER TREATMENT

Laser therapy is gaining popularity as one of the safest and least invasive ways to reduce the appearance of visible signs of aging and improve the overall appearance of skin. The treatment involves a handheld device that emits a controlled high-intensity laser beam onto treated areas, penetrating the skin to treat cosmetic concerns and chronic conditions at the source.

At Rao Dermatology, we offer multiple types of lasers to ensure the best results for your individual needs:

IPL

Short for Intense Pulsed Light, this popular laser treatment is also referred to as a Photofacial. The broadband energy delivered to aging or damaged skin is non-ablative, meaning it does not damage the skin surface.

CO2 Fractional

An important innovation in laser technology, fractional laser therapy treats several microscopic columns of skin at once, treating only targeted areas and leaving healthy skin unaffected.

During your consultation with our medical team, several factors will be considered when determining which type of laser therapy best suits your skincare needs, such as your medical history, skin type and condition, and cosmetic goals and expectations

PRP

When used for skin rejuvenation, PRP can help address the visible signs of age, including fine lines and wrinkles, loose or lax skin, and loss of facial volume. The Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) stimulates the body’s natural production of collagen, elastin, and other skin support structures, which helps improve the overall quality of the skin. Over time, patients will see a visible improvement in the tone and texture of their skin and a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. PRP can also be used as an alternative to injectable dermal fillers for patients who are not candidates. We recommend a series of treatments for optimal results.
